“Turning Point” was the 2018 grade 11 art show. I was given the opportunity to curate the show, making it my first curatorial exhibition. I had to come up with a name for the show, write a curatorial statement, and go through submission upon submission of over 80 grade 11 contemporary arts and photography students at Etobicoke School of the Arts. The show featured work that students considered their “turning point” in their artistic careers to get to where they are today. Media included photography, painting, sculpture, video, collage, and much more.
